Istanbul is so cosmopolitan and the hotel reflects this .. lovely flavours of complementary water always available at reception .. English speaking staff ... Such comfy beds ... Fluffy pillows Definitely recommend- Easy to walk to everywhere from the hotel

I am a big fan of Room Mate hotels and Emir was the first option to take into consideration for our 4 days/3 nights in Istanbul. We booked the suite with terrace which was very spacious, nicely designed, big confy bed, generous bathroom, lovely terrace with a few over the city. I won’t get into the details regarding the hotel itself and the breakfast. Most of all, the people who work there, especially the ones we talked to, the ones in the breakfast area and the ones from the reception - Gokhan and Ugur, very kind, helpful and funny. They made our stay even better than our expectations. This place will surely be the one where we will stay next time in Istanbul!

Our stay was great Location is amazing it’s less than 5 mins walk to the middle of istiklal street Room was very clean and housekeeping did an amazing job maintaining the room at all times Room was very spacious - we booked the two bedroom family room and it was HUGE and very beautifully decorated The surrounding area was alittle loud and we were abit skeptical about the street around but it was safe and the police station is around the corner The staff are very friendly and welcoming Checking in was so easy and fast - they allowed us early checkin I would recommend the place The decoration of the hotel and room was very nice

Only great things to say about our stay. Before we even arrived we had major flight issues (a 6hr delay) and had concerns we wouldn’t make it. The hotel couldn’t have done more to take the stress out of our situation and were super helpful and quick to respond when we had questions whilst still sat in departures in the UK. Once we finally arrived we were warmly welcomed. The hotel itself is beautifully designed with lots of attention to detail. We were three friends travelling together and had a really spacious room which had a large lounge/sofa bed and adjoining bathroom, again very nicely designed, comfy beds, and great shower. We were visiting a friend who knew the area very well and said we were lucky to have so much space. We definitely welcomed the later check out and breakfast times (12pm). A perfect location in terms of being right in the heart of the city but a few streets away from all the craziness. It was a perfect balance of calm amongst the craziness of vibrant Istanbul. I definitely plan to come back again.

Second visit, I've made up my mind - I simply wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Istanbul. I'm so taken with the unmatched level of professionalism, comfort, and convenience this place offers. This is the perfect hotel for those in search of comfort and convenience, augmented by a staff that's not only responsive but genuinely happy to assist. Plus, the spa and the sufficiently equipped gym ensure that your wellness routine stays uninterrupted, even while you're away. I usually opt for the junior suite and it really does feel like a home away from home. As for the location, some have labelled it as 'dodgy', but I perceive it as more 'alternative'. The people here just keep to themselves, and I've never felt harassed or threatened around the hotel. Highly recommend!
